Volunteer Spotlight: Bill Talentino

Volunteer Spotlight: Bill Talentino

Bill started volunteering with ReSOURCE over two years ago, and continues to do so in a number of capacities, including: in the Waste-Not-Products shop, in the Burlington Household Goods Store, as a mock-interviewer for our trainees, and as a member of our Events Committee.

A retired public library Director, Bill discovered ReSOURCE through his volunteer work at C.O.T.S., a local nonprofit offering shelter and services to those experiencing homelessness. Since meeting with our volunteer coordinator two years ago, Bill has become an invaluable member of the ReSOURCE community.

A ReUse Specialist in the Burlington Household Goods Store, Nick Barch, describes Bill’s role at ReSOURCE like that of the concrete used to patch cracks in the floor of the store (a task you can often find Bill doing): he fills in wherever he is needed, making the store, and ReSOURCE, more durable and resilient.

Bill describes his volunteer work at ReSOURCE as “tremendously fulfilling”, and recommends the work to anyone looking to contribute to the community.
